Not sure Buffalo is looking to aquire more RHD

If Buffalo's GM took that they'd get fired on the spot.

Reason being?

Wild aren't either but I figured Dumba for Risto was a small sweetener for Sabres.

Because it's basically Kaprizov +late 1st+a boom/bust prospect playing in the Q for Eichel. Dumba/Risto aren't much different players. Kaprizov on a Buf team without Eichel (and pretty NHL center barren) doesn't sound like a recipe for success.

so 100 point player entering prime for 2 prospects how havent played a nhl game and late 1st round pick plus some sugar via risto deal?
look at duchane deal and what ott gave up and add a 1st or 2.

Not a lot of teams could offer Sabres more because of salary cap hit. So if Eichel were to ask for a trade I feel comfortable with the offer.

Well...Eichel in Buffalo hasn't equalled success either. If Eichel demands a trade, this is a decent offer. I'd say add another pick to Buffalo but overall this deal is decent.

I like Dumba more than Risto a little but they are close to a wash.

The return value for a franchise #1 Center who is a top 10 player in the league is not a couple prospects and a late 1st round pick.

You dont trade a difference maker like that for a late 1st and a couple unproven prospects.

That's not answering the question. There's a very real possibility that Eichel could be asking out of Buffalo. That might be tough to hear but reality sucks some times.
