while probably fair, this likely spreads chicago too thin as well...thats over $30 mil in 3 guys

Agree. Hawks offensive depth is poor. This would be tough to manage going forward.

I respectfully disagree. While Eichel is elite, the return is more than fair. You can’t just rob teams of every asset for one player.

As a sabres fan I like this, sad to see eichel go but two good young fowards and then can build a package for a new No1 center

Problem is is that the return is only fair of Eichel wants out, if Eichel doesn't want to leave botterill won't do a trade for Eichel, unless you overpay. You are giving us this package plus another scoring forward, strome or maybe kubalik or the deal would never go through. Eichel is worth pretty much the same as Matthews or McDavid are to their Respective teams.🤷🏼‍♂️ Probably more than Matthews because of their cap hell
