So the team does one of two things with Bear. One is sign him to a two year bridge deal . Very unlikely a bridge goes longer than that . Or they try to lock him up for 6,7 years. Their is no 4 year deal at that money. Makes no sense for BEAR to want a contract like that. Might as well get the Xtra term if you're going that long. Klefbom signed his 7 year deal for 4.2 roughly after a 20 point season.. Bear probably finishes with about 25 . And the Cap has gone up since Klef signed his second deal. So team and player would be looking at around 5 million. Give or take but probably give a couple hundred grand more . Or it's a bridge for around 3.5 million .
Oilfan1717 and CD282 liked this.

Agree, and then disagree. Bear isn’t getting a 4 year deal, but it would be the term he wants the most. 4 years takes him direct to UFA without buying out any UFA years. He would kill for 4 years. Oilers won’t even discuss it.

Why do oilers fans think you can give us a bottom pairing d man for a top 6 fast winger?
Larsson isn't even good offensively or defensively. if you want Kapanen your gonna give us Nurse
If you wanna give us Larsson your taking Johnsson

Why do Leafs fans call a 3rd liner "top 6" and a top-4 defender "bottom pair"? Are you all this delusional?

AHAHAHAhAha are you dumb
Larsson is easily a top 6 d man. He doesn't put up points nor does he play good defensively. Just because you trade hall for him, doesn't mean he is top 4
Kapanen is super fast can play top 6 minutes and put up points. He is also a player who can hit and fight

I didn't mention Hall. And you didn't answer my questions: Why do Leafs fans call a 3rd liner "top 6" and a top-4 defender "bottom pair"? Are you all this delusional?

Lol dude when did a 6 point player in 46 games became a top 4 d man. You Edmonton fans are super stupid and overrating your players.
He is good at hits and ok at blocking shots but nothing else. Not gonna give up Kappy for your overrated players

HAHAHAHAha. Why would I answer your question that doesn't make sense. Larsson is not top 4 more like ahl top 6
Kappy is actually fast and nhl top 6

The Colorado trade is the only one that seems possible, all the other teams would easily decline.

These Kapanen for Larsson one for one trades make zero sense, the Oilers would need to add in a deal involving a swap of those two players, maybe something similar to the Barrie/Kadri trade.
