I would not. I think the Hawks have some pretty good depth pieces such as Kurashev and Barratt with others to come later like Teply, and hopefully Nylander becomes a potential top 6 guy at some point like hes shown he has the skill for. What we really need is a guy whos gonna put us over the top, and in this draft I think a guy like Perfetti or Holtz or whoever would fall to 7 would do more for our future than less standout guys

If I were the Hawks I wouldn’t either, but that’s based just on the fact you are far more likely to get an impact player at 7 then what you might get at 14 and 21.

No way do you trade a number 7 pick for a 14 and 21 pick. It would be more like a number 7 for a 14, 21 and 2nd or 3rd round pick. Top 10 picks are highly coveted especially in this draft.

I totally agree, and the shape we are in and the draft pool in the top 10 we should definitely be able to select a top winger who can help is down the track.
