thats a hard no, Avs will trade one of Graves or Zads this offseason but for a better fwd than Byron, they dont care about picks and prospects making up the value in this trade

Habs needs are top 4 LD and a #1C, Dumba isn't a good fit unless they trade Petry.

Only way to make COL trades work is to take less
its much easier to sell a habs fan on taking less short term to gain long term
COL fans want everyone to play in their top 6 and ignore Byron has 6 points in 9 games since returning from surgery with a beauty of a Short handed Breakaway Goal and one he set up for Armia.

Byron's Speed brings something no one in their Bottom 6 can touch as we've seen head to head vs COL (if not for Byron we spend all game trying to get in the Offensive zone as seen in his abscene's and since his return we've went 4-4-1 after selling off most of our bottom 6 and Kovalchuk who was playing 18-20 minutes a game .(to provide context in PB last 9 games before injury MTL was 7-1-1 )
That's a lot better then we did without him with not 1 but two 8 game losing streaks.

COL fans see cap and age
Skill , Talent , these things mean nothing to a Stoned Jedi hahaha
and COL fans are not as High on Byron as they are in general lol

Dumba's a perfect fit
only reason to think he's not is because you were considering giving the 32 year old RD an extension . . . . . .
For the love of God tell me you were not considering that with Weber already on the books and not worth moving at the price we'd have to pay.

MTL deffinately dont need another LD
Chiarot's on pace for his 5th consecutive Career high seasons
Dude is nothing but consistent playing more minutes then Weber and Petry

Mete is an ideal 3rd LD to pair with Fleury with a balance of Speed and Hard Hits
Romanov's coming and aint nobody getting in his way after all the foot work MB did this year to see him .
(last time he travelled that much to Russia for a player it was Panarin who he met first as a CHI employee and continued as a Habs employee )

Harris , Norlinder and Struble all had years well beyond what was projected
(Struble was supposed to be in the BCHL this year but the team he committed to had a season ending injury at christmas and he got called up putting up 10 points in 21 games before injury after just turning 18)
