I wouldnt personally. Dermott is imo better than Mete. Showed his true self with performances as 1LD playing 23+ minutes a night. He was arguably leafs best D after Muzz went out with injury. Mete is good too, but no from me.

dermott is move valuable to the leafs because of his defensive ability and he can PK. Mete is a fantastic skater but he would fall behind on the leafs depth chart. if he was able to play on the RS like dermott can then It would be fair but the leafs dont make this trade as it is

I'd prefer to not bother. It may be an upgrade but it isn't a gigantic upgrade. Rather make a bigger move including Mete to try and get a legit top 4. Dermott IMO is not yet and I'm not 100% sure he ever will be.
