Lottery Luck

Initial Creation Date: Mar. 9, 2020

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If Cozens is ready, he makes it over mitts then mitts either moves to wing or back to the AHL. Hopefully Cozens is but no need to rush him. Obviously this lineup is getting lucky in the lottery and no free agency moves or trades which obviously will happen to some extent. Bored at work so open to discussions

Why do you want Wayne Simmonds back. He has been a shell of his former self.

At 2 million for 2 years id have him back all day. He has played very well in buffalo and unfortunately the team around him hasn't. Simmonds is much better than what you saw out of him in jersey

Byfield ceiling's very high but being one of the youngest players this year means he's a long term project, don't think we'll see him in a top 6 spot before 2022. You saw at the WJC that he wasn't ready yet to play against top lines (Of his caliber so let alone an NHL one), great prospect but don't hope that he's the savior next year.

I agree with this. Shoulda made my post for 2022. I think he has getzlaf type impact however for sure needs some time.

I think most people agree that Laf is too good for the Q this yr... Last WJC he had 1 point (in his d-1 yr, not draft year)... That year he was like two months younger than Byfield was for this previous one where he also got one point iirc...

honestly If we pick in top 8 (which we will) lots of talent. Very good draft through top 8-10

very strong top 8, with 7 of them being forwards. Can't wait for Botterill to draft the defenseman scream

Center takes a little more time than wingers. Next year he'll still be junior then maybe get a stint (9games and AHL) -or make the team- the following year (2021) but he's not going to come in and play top 6, he'll need time to adjust to the NHL speed. All in all no chance he comes in and save your team in 2020.

If you don't want Drysdale I'll happily take him, he'll be a beast.

youre insane. Byfield is going 2. With Raymond most likely 3rd. But 1 and 2 are already set

If you read the latest scouting reports you would know. Stuzle is playing againest men and doing very well. Raymond and Holtz are down to 6th-8th although I do think one will be taken earlier
