Description

Kap failed with Tavares earlier as he couldn't play on the left, with Nylander there, he can. My concern though is what this does to the third line

Problem is that its Marner there again. I hope to see Scrappy succeed there, but I have doubts.

Engvall is the better skill-set for Tavares and Marner since he plays more of a Hyman game then Kapanen, and if you can't get Hyman, then you try for the second best thing. With Kapanen, you are asking him as a third line to better defend then play offense. Problem with him has always been his consistency in playing a well-rounded game for 60 minutes. The Johnsson-Kerfoot-Kapanen did have flashes of brilliance, as I recall, but a third line's job is not pure offense, and I think Kapanen has a hard time sometimes understanding that.
