20-21 Season - ALL IN

Description
I think we need to go all-in next year while we still have Dougie and Svech on the cheap.
The addition of Skjei makes Gardiner more than expendable. Brock McGinn is a great PK specialist but does not bring enough offense. Guys like Martinook and Lorentz are also proficient on the PK and bring other traits as well. Getting rid of Nino's and Reimer's cap hits would be great and clear some room to sign Dadanov to a 1 year, high dollar deal. The addition of Dadanov would really solidify the top 6 scoring with explosive scoring options at every turn. The one year term keep allows us to go for it, but then free's up the money to sign our UFA's following the season. The addition of Palmieri would replace Justin Williams leadership and experience and round out the top 9 perfectly. I would hate to give up Foegele especially to a division opponent but if that's what it took, I would be OK with the price. Having Lorentz as Foegele's replacement softens the blow. Re-signing TVR to a reasonable cap hit would be better than bringing in a different 7th defender who then needs to familiarize himself with the new team and system.

Having moved out both goaltenders, we could then acquire a true No.1 in Markstrom and use Nedelkovic, as the back-up as he is on a one way deal, to balance out the large contract.

I picked teams to trade these players to, but really any team would do. And if possible I would prefer to keep Foegele over Dzingel, but I think a team like NJD would be looking for youth and term.

NJD deal is bad. They have no need for Mrazek. And Foegele for Palmieri and a 3rd would get their GM fired twice in the same year.

Totally agree with you! Palmieri if he is traded will at least bring a first round pick. And the Devils will try to extend him this summers. He will probably be their next captain.

That would be a horrific trade for the Devils. Why on earth would they do that? The only way that trade would remotely make sense is if a first round pick went to NJ while keeping everything else the same.

I thought I recently read/heard that NJD was going to focus around their younger core players and build around Heischier and Hughes. I was under the impression that Palmieri is not in their long term plans and would be gone either way. Have you heard that he is definitely re-signing? Foegele would be a good Coleman replacement. Clearly you don't value him very high, but getting a cheap top 9 RFA with term in exchange for one year of Palmieri seems pretty fair. If you don't want Mrazek I get it, like I said these players can go anywhere really.. we could add a prospect and remove the third. Teams are only giving up first rounders for players with term, Hall not withstanding. I think teams are gonna be cautious after seeing how the Hall trade played out.
