Left side too strong, right side too weak
if you're taking Brodin, then it means Rielly, Muzzin or Oleksiak will move (and Rielly isn't moving)

How is it you manage to make this team worse everytime? Marner out Brodin and Fiala in? So pointless, right side is still super weak. If your gonna move Marner do something smarter with the move

What if the economy tanks, and playoffs are played in empty arenas?
teams with cap room will take advantage of teams with none, in any trade negotiation

Then you don't make the trade as the trade doesn't improve the leafs

I apologize for not being specific about the effects of a tanked economy and playoff games in empty buildings on Hockey Related Revenue
WHAT IF the cap dropped to $75 million because of all the lost revenue?
Teams would have no choice but to make trades that jettison big contracts at that point -right?
teams up against the cap would be hostages in that situation -
improve your club?
Exactly why would any club help the Leafs with that project?

Funny how other top teams have proper defensive depth and not the Leafs
Those would be the teams not paying three players $11 million each

If that was too happen than sure, I can't see the cap dropping below what it is now a more likely scenario would be the rich teams give to the poor to maintain an 81 million dollar cap
