Can't imagine you would get Chmelevski for one season of Mrazek.

It's just an approximation of value based on my personal amateur scouting observations on AHLTV and other sources. Don't take it too seriously, take it as a sign that I really like a player in a dark-horse sort of way. My inclusion of Cajkovic and Moore are other examples of this.

This is just bad, why would you retain on Dzingel to take on MORE salary in Gourde?

Why would you retain on McGinn to take on MORE salary in Baertchi?

Mrazek isn't getting that return.

Also. DOUGIE ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE! HE IS A KNOWN FAN FAVOURITE AND ONE OF THE BEST D MEN IN HOCKEY! WHY WOULD THEY MOVE HIM? WHY DON'T TAMPA MOVE HEDMAN? WHY DON'T TORONTO MOVE RIELLY? WHY DON'T COLORADO MOVE MAKAR? IT'S SUCH A DUMB IDEA

I'm a big fan of the concept of taking on salary in trades in exchange for draft pick & prospect sweeteners and buy-low players, instead of splurging too much on UFA. Dark-horse prospects that I'm a big fan of, like Cajkovic, and the 2021 2nd from Vancouver are examples of using cap space as an asset.

We had Cajkovic, he left because he wanted actual ice time. We don't need bad contracts, we need depth scoring and useful players. I get what you mean IF WE WERE REBUILDING but we're one of the better teams in the NHL, we need to spend that money on UFAs because that way we can directly address our needs. You have severly downgraded the team to take on prospects and picks which is fine if we were rebuilding.
