Domi, Lindblom and Patrick would all want more money.

Also big decline for MTL.

Lindblom wont get more than 1 million considering there's literally 0 timeline on his return table. Patrick has also missed too much time to warrant making any considerable amount of money (he will take a very cheap 1 or 2 year bridge).

I agree that Domi trade is a no go

Maybe, but Ghost is coming off a bad year too and two mid level prospects aren't a huge offer. Risto needs a change of coaches and a solid partner. He is at worst, a lesser offensive force than Ghost and a lesser defenseman, but his upside is much higher.

And agree with DH28Hockey above, Patrick and Lindblom re-signs are really nothing. Lindblom may never play again, and chances are even if he could, it'll take another year or so for him to build back strength and muscle after his treatment. Patrick has missed the entire season, and its debateable if he can play at same level or for long term, so neither gets much more than the above for short term.

And while Id love to have Domi's grit, and JVR does have value as a perennial 25 goal scorer, I doubt MTL moves him
