I can hope, we'll have tons of firepower next season if healthy

You guys kind of remind me of my jets 2 years ago when we destroyed everbody and our offence was probably the best in the league. Can you guys do us a favour and beat Calgary, and Arizona for us smile

Yeah. You're not wrong. Knew the NHL was snubbing him last summer when he wasn't top 20... Currently 5th in goals (40), 7th in points per game (1.32) and has tied his career high in points, in 26 less games. Guy's been nasty and I'm glad everyone's starting to see it.

Oh he is 100% if u base it on this year and last. He’s top 5 in goals top 15 in points and he’s missed 14 games. He’s solid at winning draws and he’s on the penalty kill. He doesn’t play with all stars and he still is doing this. He’s top 15 centre

He has the fifth highest points per game out of all centers with 20 games or more played. Above names like Matthews, Tavares, etc. And that's on a team that hasn't been above the wild card line all year.
If you take back stats to last season, he is 10th on the list. Considering how good he is defensively as well, your statement is just very typical leaf-fan

In no particular order
McDavid
Crosby
Malkin
MacKinnon
Matthews
Tavares
Aho
Pettersson
Couturier
Barzal
Eichel
Cirelli
Bergeron
Point
Scheifele
O'rielly
Kuznetsov
without looking at their stats I think backstrom and Dubois are probably better.

Draisaitl would also be better but that's up to you, you may think hes a winger or a center

Zib produces as much as kuz, is better defensively, and kuz is a trainwreck from the dot
Barzal, struggled as soon as he wasn't sheltered on the 2nd line, granted hes been better against other top lines this season, hes also worse defensively and also horrible at faceoffs
Cirelli while amazing defensively, doesn't produce enough enough offensively to cover the gap
Petterson also worse defensively and horrible at faceoffs
Backstrom and dubois just aren't close
Aho is probably closest to him

He isnt good defensively. Hes a negative possession player and has something like a 45% xG. Hes fantastic offensively but to say hes a top 15 center in the nhl isnt true at all

Faceoffs arent that important and zib isnt good defensively. Lie I said in my latest post on this thread he is fantastic offensively but he is also playing against secondary competition. Cirelli should probably be nominated for the selke this season and will still have probably 55-60 points all while not getting much time on the PP

lol what are you talking about?
his CF% is 50.1 and his rel is +4.0 (and has always been a positive number since his rookie season). I really don't think you've ever watched a ranger game to be honest with these statements.

https://www.hockey-reference.com/players/z/zibanmi01.html

shows all even strength.. and the rangers are a non-playoff team and generally a negative possession team (due to the way their defensive structure is)

I usually use hockey reference but I wanted to look at xG% as well, HR doesn't have it.
