Columbus laughs at you.... we aren’t trading Gavrikov and Strome isn’t worth it without Kane. Strome is a below average offensive player without Kane on his line... Columbus doesn’t have a player like Kane to carry him.

I know you're very high on Gavrikov, but that's a honest trade proposition, you have to admit that. Now you said no, he's better/will be better than Murray Nutivaara, and you rather trade one of those 2 before Gavrikov

what would the Murray and Nutivarra offer be if you prefer trading one of those players

I feel like storme for gavrikov wasn’t an awful trade in terms of value. He does only have one NHL season under his belt.

lol gavrikov isn't even that good. he is already 25 putting up 3rd line numbers. Strome can play second line tbh. You need a second line centre, sure you get strome.
He is the only good second line centre on the block you mind as well take him

Strome isn’t a 2nd line center without Kane... look at his numbers when he isn’t on the ice with Kane... he’s about as good as Wennberg is.

Gavrikov will be better then either of Murray or Nuttivaara. Murray is kinda meh and injury prone. Nuttivaara is a top 4 fill in that can play both sides.

Gavrikov isn't that good. Strome would at least help. He is decent even without Kane, as long as he has someone that can pass like Wennberg. I think you could take a chance on him if you have cap and can extend pld

As a fan of neither team, unless I am really missing how awesome Gavrikov is, this is a huge underpayment for Strome. He's 5th in average time on ice on Columbus. He is slightly heavy on D zone starts. People also tend to think of players like him as "young" because they come over to the NHL late, but he is two years older than Werenski for example, who is the same age as Strome.

I don't see him being that special though. He's a 24 year old 2nd to third pairing defenseman. A 22 year old 2nd line centre with 1st line potential, even with the big question mark of "is he created by his winger"? Is worth significantly more

IMO it's a fair trade, but Strome doesn't have 1st line potential

I would rather keep Strome as a Chicago Fan. No need to further clog the pipeline of dmen unless its a for sure stud coming back. Would rather keep strome and leave roster spots of the future to dehaan, beaudan, krys, and carlson on the left side. Not to mention keith is still playing 25 mins per game at a pretty high level at 36 years old
