Dubas has never laughed so hard and hung up faster to an offer than this one. Hyman isn't going anywhere and de Haan is useless in Toronto.

He's a lefty.. Leafs already have 3, arguably and soon to be 4 better left handed d-man on their team. .. so yeah, pretty useless to pay him that much to maybe be third pair

not arguing the value is off, because with his shoulder injuries he's definitely not as sure of a thing as hyman and Toronto would probably be the one getting a pick back, but he's a better defensive defenseman than maybe anyone on the Leafs right now
