Creative approach, but the PK trade is an immediate NEVER!
Overpay for a player of highly dubious stature, insane paycheck!

I agree, no was Holland adds Lavoie to that trade. And if he did bring in PK, Tippett certainly wouldn't play him at 1RD over Bear.

You both do realize that this season for Subban is an outlier season, his entire career he has been good to very good, I do agree he's be paired with Nurse not Klefboom, Shedding Neal who has been and will be much worse than Subban over the next 3 years is worth it and would be considered a tempting trade

I don't see it as an outlier at all. I see it as the steady and predictable decline of a soon to be 31 year old defensman who has logged a lot of tough, physical minutes over the past decade and has increased his decline with a terribly executed and overly strenuous personal workout routine.

You don't have to be an expert to see that PK is a shell of the player that he was a few years ago. This is not a one off of any kind. He is not worth a third of the money that he is being paid IMO. I would not want him anywhere near my team.

Hard pass.

An outlier season... kind of like Neal's 2018-19? He's scored 20+ goals every year but that one, but he has rebounded now so were all good, right?
