I think your estimate on Bratt's salary is low and you might be high on Anderson and Merkley. I don't think NJD is going to package up more assets to move Subban while retaining money to do it. Because his remaining salary is so bonus heavy, the Devils are already paying him 6m for next season come July whether they trade him or not. At 4.5m retained for the next two years, that's 9m + the 6m they had to pay on the bonus this July. 15m of the 16m real world dollars Subban is owed. Throwing players on ELCs on top of it? Think it through.
