Pretty sure giving up a ton of picks and overpaying Dadonov is the opposite of a rebuild

I have said this so many times: Yzerman is committed to building through the draft. So I wouldn't expect him to trade away picks unless it's something big. Detroit has started to put some good pieces together but they aren't a playoff team adding a bunch of UFAs isn't going to make them a playoff team. It will most likely put them into the never-ending rebuild. With the offer sheets do you know how many there were last season? There was 1.
