Better take Ladd back if you are getting Sorokin. You'll also probably have to throw in a 2nd rounder

Why would the islanders trade the best goalie outside the NHL? For the islanders to consider it, kaprizov or fiala would have to be part of the trade

Krebs is the one I want in that deal. Tuch would be nice, but really isn't needed with all the wings MN has.

I'd rather have Dumba for Krebs+pick.

I think the issue becomes salary for Vegas. They likely wouldn't have the cap space to take on a $6m defenseman without moving out some salary, depending on what the cap ends up being next season. At $84m, they have $12m to sign 10 players. I agree I'd rather just get the player they need though.

If they got Dumba then Martinez might be the cap they would look to dump (probably better off trading him in a separate deal). I think Tuch has a cap hit that a cap tight team would want to hold on to.
