IMO, only the Kyle Connor trade makes sense. Other than that, the remaining trades are lopsided: either favouring the Avs (Hronek trade) or the other team (e.g. Max Domi trade).

Jets trade makes sense? No it doesn’t at all.

Starts with newhook and Timmins. He is a pt/ game player who will likely be a perennial 40 goal scorer for the better part of this decade. And the then when you offer those players the jets decline. Connor is a jet for the next 7 years.

you ahve a point. Might as well upgrade that 2nd to a 1st. however Byram has more way value than Newhook and Timmins

It’s not about value in Byrams case. It’s the fact that he is left handed. If there is such thing as having too many top end prospects in one position then you can say that about the jets ld prospects. While our only very good rd prospect is gawanke (super good upside though) . Also it doesn’t matter cause the jets will still decline

stop making Avs trade if you are doing out of control no sense of value proposals for them with other fan bases

just putting 2 of the Top 10 in the entire NHL rated drafted prospects (as recently ranked by Sportsnet and other draft sites)....dude stop it

Kyle Connor will be a perrenial 40 goal scorer in the NHL and the Avs could be an elite contender with him

I dont think you understand the word perennial....he has yet to score 40 goals in an NHL season (this year he will for the 1st time)
Hes a perennial 30 goal scorer

Again you dont understand the level of prospects, or with your trades, have 0 clue about the Avs needs.

Ya they are. Connor is signed to a good contract for 6 more years. It’s already hard for a market like the jets to get players to sign long term with. They aren’t moving a long term core piece like that for futures especially considering he is a major part of that future

I get what you are saying, but they wouldn’t turn that package down, cost controlled top pairing d-man, and top line C for 7 years, plus Z and another 1st. That is a team altering package. That all being said, Byram and Newhook are basically untouchable, so it wouldn’t happen.

Byram and newhook haven’t played in the ahl or nhl and there is no guarantee they will be top line/top pairing players. Connor is a proven star. Zadorov is a meh peice and the 1st will be very late. The jets will want a big proven peice on the back end if they trade connor. Not a bunch of unproven prospects no matter how good they are
