Really depends on if/how much his numbers regress next year. Either way he's an elite number 1 center and he'll get paid like one. I'd imagine by the time his contract is up in 2022 he'll be worth somewhere around 12-13 million

Hate to say this...do love Mika...but gonna be UFA at 29 yo- no doubt the team could get a haul for him at 2021 TDL...have to at least listen to what would be offered for a player good for 2 cup runs before UFA ....seriously- don't want to move him- but a 7 or 8 year contract to a 29 yo?? The business side of this sport really sucks.
