Conner is the most valuable player of the 4, based on this season id say Nylander > Laine , Conner > than all 3 , Marner > Laine. Laine has been just meh and very in consistent

I’m not sure what version of Laine your watching this year, but this is by far his best season so far in his career. His all around game is much improved, he’s regularly the best defensive forward on his line (Schiefele, Connor being his line mates). He’s been much more consistent as well, no more stretches of like last year where he would just play horrible for 10 games in a row.

IMO, Connor > Marner > Laine > Nylander

Cant really argue on that... dont like laine's game right now hes good on both ends but that shoot first mentality is gone and a sniper needs that as well as his pace is not there hopefully he figures it out soon

That was the last 3 years of Laine, this year he’s been a completely different player. His all around game is much improved over last year, he’s more physical, better defensively, much better playmaker, and just generally shows more effort. When he’s not scoring this year, he’s still a plus player in a lot of different parts of the game.

Nylander and Laine are separated by 3 pts after 68 games, Nylander has more goals Laine more apples - if laine is considered one of the games premier goal scorers than his season has to be considered a bit disappointing while Nylander has also improved all over the ice as well as Laine it's really a tough debate based on the past 68 games

It's depressing that this is true. He is bad defensively and yet is still the best on his line.

Connor is better than Marner and Laine is better than Nylander.

If you want to talk about the players value to the team, the two Jets players make 4.5m less between them as well.

Yes, I'm a Jets fan but I would think any team would take the two Jets players over the two Leafs players.

Depends if you're talking right now or in general. In terms of career its Marner>Laine> and its splitting hairs between Nylander and Connor. Right now it'd be Marner>Connor>Nylander>Laine.
