1st I doubt the cap goes up at all, due the lack of the final games in the regular season and an abbreviated playoffs.

Wings not eating over 4 million in salary for Andersson whom appears to be a problem.

What if it was Georgiev? Heard the Wings could use a goalie, might be worth it, taking one year of Smith for a young goalie who might have a bright future.

Similar to what Rags got for Talbot in the trade to EDM.

Talbot was putting up much drastically stronger numbers than Georgiev is (was).

Too little for Georgiev. Talbot had better numbers, but was 3 years older. So expect a similar package at least. Lias Andersson has lost a lot of value, but as a pick throw-in to take a $2 million contract (thats his actual salary after his bonus is paid, which NYR always pay bc they're the richest franchise in the league) is a joke.

The only problem with that is Detroit traded hi to NYR because they no longer wanted to deal with him.

Sj is not trading valuable picks for Georgiev. We’d rather re-sign Dell.

Detroit says hell no, Lias Andersson is a worthless bust. And we don't want Smith back period.

Do not see Georgie being traded. I think NYR want to ride with those two once Hank's deals expires after 2021.

Whether its retirement, buyout, or trade. I think Hank is done here, sad to see it result to this but i think thats what they do.
