Description

23 man roster - everyone aged 20-25 - 1 extra D, 2 F

As you can imagine, this age was very difficult to narrow down to 23 - leaving out guys like Point, Cirelli, Dubois, Tkachuk, Nylander, Barzal, Horvat, Larkin, Strome, DeBrusk and other high caliber players, I based it off of this seasons basic stats.

Did not spend too much time creating lines. Just wanted to get guys on the roster.

Could this team beat the Vets?

U didn't play DeBrincat with McDavid anyway, but...I would say put in another player like Peterson , who can score just as good as DeBrincat.

Um... Depends in what u are looking at, 2bh 7 guys above that are better than DeBrincat. Barzal, Tkachuk, Point, Larkin, and Horvat are all steps above DeBrincat at the time being, those 5 are capable of carrying their teams and respective lines, Barzal is better than both Eichel and McDavid in terms of possession in the offensive zone per game, and he is faster... (Well at the all-star game anyway). Horvat and Larkin are either the captain of face of their franchises, they drive possession lead the team 2 wins and play good defense. I think that both Dubois and Cirelli have better upside than DeBrincat on this team, Cirelli because of his defensive capabilities, imagine him and Barkov + Marner. The steals on defense vs their creativity on offense. Dubois is a underrated player. I think Cirelli and Dubois are debatable compared to DeBrincat because I don't know DeBrincat defensive capabilities but the other 5 are better IMO
