Description
Bored working form home during this crisis...
1. Upgrade the 2nd rounder for 2021 from the AA trade to STL 1st rounder (prob a late 1st rounder) for taking last year of Steen's contract... STL needs the immediate room to sign Pietrangelo
2. Ghost has 3 more years left and out of flavour in Philly... may help our PP... CHolo may become the exact same player as Ghost but take a big, young winger Ratcliffe
3. Draft Lafreniere assuming we win the lottery... that 2nd line of Laf, Velano & Zadina could honestly develop into similar version of Boston's top line in 2-4 years
4. Goalies and D need work but use drafts in 2020 and 2021 to address for this or a big UFA signing in 2021 or 2022 once core has developed

Keep an eye out for Drew Commesso or Jan Bednar with one of those second-round picks . . .

Couldn't it just be like Orpik 2 years ago? Got traded but I assume COL said they were going to buy Orpik out so he could sign wherever he wanted, Steen could even sign back with the Blues at a lower rate.
