Trades
DET
  1. Murray, Ryan
Additional Details:
Murray brings a good defensive game to Detroit, he is a very solid 2nd pair d-man who does not get to fully show his promise due to all the injuries he's racked up in his career, but if fully healthy I believe he could be a great pickup.
CBJ
  1. 2020 2nd round pick (WSH)
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (VGK)
Additional Details:
*2021 3rd is conditional on if Murray plays 65+ games in 2021. If he does not it's a 4th round pick.

Don't think Columbus wants to do that, nor would they accept that offer if they were to trade Murray. But other than that it looks good! Like the signings. Gudas is a good pickup although ideally a 3 year deal instead of 4.

Thanks for the reply, I would think Columbus does it just because of Gavrikov's ascension, along with the fact that they're probably going to look at bringing in some forwards in FA to help bolster the attack. As for Gudas to convince him to come to Detroit it would have to be a more lucrative offer.

I would argue Haula's deal needs to be more lucrative than Gudas'. But that is just me.

Columbus is 100% accepting that. We have plenty of LHD and could use the cap room for other players.

I just can't see DET spending picks when they are this bad. At least not early round picks. Signings are good though.

For just a 2nd and a conditional 3rd though? He's a pretty decent 2nd pairing dman. I just would've though you'd want a little more for him

With Murray’s contract and injury history we'll take a 2nd for him. We likely wouldn’t get the 3rd.

I wasn't really sure how to properly gauge Haula's value in the league. He's kind of getting the Derrick Brassard treatment rn, cuz nobody really seems thrilled about him on their team (e.g. VGK, CAR, FLA)

I know that 2nd center us an issue but haula is not the answer. I like the player though. Holtby scares the crap out of me.
