avs will hard pass on that trade
They are not giving up a 1st and guys with RFA control for a couple 30 year old guys on exiting 1 year deals (and yes Tatar will be 30 in the first year o af a new deal)

If Bergevin and Claude are fired I doubt they take players with them.
The day they get fired the team will look exactly like the previous day.

And Montreal have no interest if trading them for spare part. Graves is having the career season and will return to is former form. That would be mediocre and burakowsky without Mackinnon well it’s burakowsky from is first 4 season. A wannabe good players. Montreal get bendover real hard on that one.

Don’t listen to Cago troll master, he is cibling Mtl as a fans base and start to insults people when he get out of response. Other team doesn’t have good enough players to be trade to Colorado. The 31 other team are just not good enough so stop wasting your time.

dude you dont get it, its about cap control and assessment management. It has nothing to do with the quality of the players
ITs not a hard concept to follow. Avs will have cap certainty with their younger guys during the MacKinnon era once they get their new contracts this summer, they have the guys they like. Would Tatar and Petry help now...yes they would, but thats it 1 year of help and thats not what the Avs are trying to do, load up for a 1 year chips in the middle cup window

Trading them away for guys who are older and need new more expensive contracts as UFAs is the opposite roster build Sakic has been talking about publicly for the last 18 months.

Just bc you dont follow the Avs and dont understand the logic behind the teams roster moves and creation doesnt mean im a troll. You cried all day yesterday about being calling someone a troll bc they dont like what they posted, and what are you doing right now? You claimed guys take things personal and attack...what are you doing right now.

If MTL sells off Tatar and Petry its separately, they would get better value for them that way, multiple 1sts plus prospects is better then this package.

Lehkonen would need to be more then a 2nd to be traded, expect him to sign cheap and long term and be more of a dollar value player.

That's not enough for Dvorak, more because lack of quality. Byron would need to have another successful season to get his value back to where it should be.

Not enough for Orlov either.

Poehling needs to prove himself in the NHL before he would be traded for picks alone.
