I’d rather not give up Murray and Andy for a d prospect and a second.
We need a center so we’d ask for jack Roslovic back in a trade for a top 4 defenseman and a one year removed 27 goal 25 year old power forward. Who if returns to form is better than jack off the back.
    Just my take.

That WIN trade is a WIN for WIN

Green won't become anything special and a late 2nd round pick is far from worth it for a 3rd liner plus a number 3-4 d-man

I was thinking about doing an Anderson + Korpisalo + B prospect and a 2nd for Matt Murray but then I said maybe not

I’d say definitely not. In my eyes Matt Murray is worse right now than Korpisalo. Plus from what our reporters have said. Jarmo would rather quit than trade Andy within the division.

Dubinsky is on LTIR and only has 1 year left

How about Murray and Anderson for Roslovic?

Columbus really has no use for Green and with Murray injury history and Anderson having a bad year seems fair for Roslovic, who really hasn’t done much in the NHL but he’s also much younger.

I’m also trying to figure out why Columbus should buyout Wennberg vs Dubinsky... the only reason we buyout Wennberg is if we can get a 2nd line center for sure coming back. Also Jenner isn’t a 2nd line center, Foudy or Texier would be the 2nd line guy if we stay in house, though I’m not sure either are ready right now.

Dubinsky isn’t a guarantee for LTIR.... he was scheduled to come back this season... he wasn’t even placed on LTIR this season...

As Ajp said, Also Columbus isnt a team that generates a lot of finances yet, buying out Dubinsky's contract is more economically efficient. Dubinsky was already playing on the 4th line and blocking youngsters from coming up. Wennberg is at least still a top 9 player with value even though hes overpaid

I get what you're trying to say but nobody can be placed on LTIR until their team is up against the cap. I think Dubi getting medically cleared to play next season has to be one of Jarmo's worst nightmares and while he hasn't said much I don't get the sense Dubi is ready to step away from hockey.

You’re saying the same thing I am... Dubinsky was scheduled to be cleared to play this year. He’s not a guarantee to be on LTIR all year.
