The Kings have $60 million tied up in 15 players for next year, with at least 6 entry-level players vying for positions at forward (Anderson-Dolan, Grundstrom, Kupari, Thomas) or defense (Bjornfot, Clague), plus whoever surfaces at training camp in September. In addition, most of their unsigned RFA's are entry-level types, too. So they have 8 slots open and $20 million to fill them with, without a single buy-out as is. Bottom line: Los Angeles is under no pressure to try to arrange a second buy-out. But Julien BriseBois is on hold . . .
