Barkov was a close one for me. If anything, I would sub him in for Bergeron. Couturier is underrated as all hell but in my opinion, he’s in the top 15

If you ever wonder about recency bias, look no further than opinions on Mika Zibanejad, who scored 11 goals in his last 6 games and is shooting 20% on the year.

It’s not just how he’s been playing recently, he has an amazing defensive game and a high hockey iq. Who knows, it may be me being a rangers fan, but I really think he’s meant to be in the top 10

I think he's really good - a true 1C - but cracking the top10 centers in the NHL right now takes more production/longevity IMO.

Zibanejad is good but he isn't a top 10 centre in the league. Also I really hope this list isn't in order since Crosby is still the clear #2 (an argument could be made for #1), and MacKinnon is undisputed #3. After that you can make a case for Draisaitl.

I don’t think the last three belong at all, especially Kuzy and Scheifele who’ve been total black holes defensively this year

to not have Malkin on this list is absurd. hes having a monster year. 74 points in 55 games. thats a 110 point pace. Kuz isn't even top 20 centres.
