I'm not 100% sure on how compliance buyouts work, but i'm pretty sure that if it happened, only one player per team would be allowed to be bought out

yep only one per team if they want another bought out they can go to a team who probably does not need to buyout (toronto) and trade that player to them so they buy him out.

No one can answer anything because it would have to be negotiated as a unique scenario. But in the past, yes they've been separate. No change to regular buy out rules

Other note: don't give Parise that much term ..
