Chicago would rather keep a 30 goal scorer

I think Lavoie and McLeod will play in the AHL next year. Rodrigue isn't ready to be a backup. You signed Bear for much to little as well. If I were you, I'd use the cap space to sign a third line center, sign a backup goalie and maybe some depth.

I think Holland wants to keep the first rounder this year. It's a very deep draft.

I'm not sure because if you look at his statistics in the junior, they are very good

Junior doesn't directly translate to pro. Give him a year in the AHL and maybe play him late next season. But starting him on the first line against the greatest players in the world would screw up his development. The Oilers have done that way too much.

Exactly. Kings have no need for that trade

Do you think he'll shoot 19.1% going forward?

Neither do the Oilers. Broberg won't be in the NHL next year and he has $8M in cap space, so that trade is useless.

Kubalik is a rookie and a 30 goal scorer do you think Chicago wants to do the Artemi Panarin?

He's bigger than everyone he plays against, don't get fool by his junior production. That's why he fell a bit in the draft, is he going to be able to produce as much against guys as big or bigger than him? (Most likely not but how big the difference will be)

He shot 11.1% in the NLA over the previous 2 seasons. Are NLA goalies that much better? Don't count on him repeating that 30-goal performance any time soon - maybe ever.

He's 24. Yes he qualifies as a rookie, but he isn't going to get much better due to age. I'm not advocating for this trade, but to describe him as a rookie 30-goal scorer is overselling him by quite a bit. Nugent-Hopkins is by far the better player.

He fell due to consistency concerns, not due to size. When someone falls due to size, it's ALWAYS because they're small, not because they're tall.

Ryan Nugent Hopkins plays with Draisaitl. Draisaitl is having a career year and just helping RNH out. Ryan was just a second liner before Draisaitl came and Carried him.
RNH may be better with his 2 way but Kubalik for Neal and RNH isn't going to be enough for Chicago

Again, I'm not advocating for this trade. I'm saying don't overrate Kubalik.
