1. Why are you running with a 21 man roster. You shouldn't be so tight against the cap
2. Taffoli is gonna want more
3. I like the Hanifin trade I think Montreal would think about it

I’d offload one of the big contracts on the 4th line then or get a cheaper backup goalie

I would not spend the 6.75 on Barrie and target a cheaper option to help the top 9 (Toffoli will get more). Demelo, Braun, Gustaffson could all probably be had under $4M. Shattenkirk and Vatanen would be more but cheaper than Barrie.

Trying to get rid of Bennett, and Ryan is also a good option.
