Both trades are ridiculous. TBL wouldn’t trade Vasilevsky straight up for Price. Tell me who has more recently won the Vezina? Who makes less money?

If Tampa trades Point and Vali for cap reasons,,, they certainly aren't taking back all that Price cap and get the worse player in the trade.
Same with the Leafs....trading Matthews for Weber doesn't provide that much cap relief....certainly not a good on ice value for the Leafs.
