Description

More or less just following the trend of the dynasty hawks and penguins. Skill and speed still kill. Also, seabs a compliance buyout assuming one is given. Hawks strike gold in the draft, pick 2-3 and 8. Byfield, stutzle, and holtz. Holtz goes back to Sweden. Holtz to get the Elias pettersson treatment.. Stutzle goes right up but would get a season of AHL time probably, coming from Germany might require it. As such, this roster reflects what it would look like once all the picks are brought in 2021. Team stops playing this BS defensive system and starts playing a speed, offensive oriented system again.

Sorry for triggering anyone. Let’s all be honest, we’re all bored and not having hockey sucks...

Part of trading Kane at full cap hit is taking back lundqvist to only add an extra 2 mil to the cap. I’m definitely not against retaining 1-1.5. 2 first rounders and at least Miller or lundkvist have to be a part of it though. Hawks are like the rangers in that they don’t need right handers on defense though.

Kane at 9M for both 2020 1st, Miller and Lundqvist. But if Amnesty buyout becomes a thing then NYR probably buyout Lundqvist anyway
If that’s the case I would say both 2020 1st, Miller and B.Smith for cap purpose

Definitely like that idea. Only sticking point for me would be that Kane is still well in his prime and would be ridiculous playing with panarin again. As such, it would have to be Smith, Miller, a 2020 first AND a 2021 first. Might be a steep price, but the 2021 draft isn’t shaping up to be a great draft and you guys do have carolina’s pick this year.
