Questioned this pick at the time thought their were better players on the board at the time but I am happily surprised, a top 4 d man with size very nice.

I think in Buffalo he will get a look in the top 4 by 2021-2022. He is a shutdown defenseman so pairing him with one of Montour/Risto (whoever you keep). Comparable to a guy like Zadorov I think, but with more offensive upside and better skating. Also see him being an alternate captain after his NHL rookie season, he is a true leader
