Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I'd absolutely LOVE this team if this all was to happen & If we didn't make those panic trades at last Deadline.

- Only thing I wasn't sure of was to either put McCann or Kempe at 3C bc IMO they are both much better wingers w/ their speed. I may be in the minority
but I still like & think Bjugstad is a really good player (when healthy) but needed a LHD more w/ his cap hit.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

GOALIES-
- Big Ginormous fan of The Jarry / Lehner GOALIE TANDEM w/ Lehner taking a 1 yr deal to win Cup then he would get his big deal.
* Plus having A. Hill as 3rd Goalie

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

FORWARDS-
- This team has a Top 9 of all Top 6 guys & is a team built to run 4 lines every game.

- I think Kempe brings a rare size / speed mix to this line-up & would do great here.

- My God just how great could that 1st line be w/ 59-87-67 - Jake 'N' Bake - GOAT87 - Ricky Ricardo
Rakell easily gets back to his 34 goal - 70 Point form, playing w/ 87 & 59. Plus Rakell's give & go game is insane too (just what Sid loves)

* Lines Could also go:
59-87-16
67-71-17
29-19-72 (29-Kempe) (E-Rod has #9)
18-53-13
OR
59-87-67
29-71-16
17-19-72
53-9-13

- This bottom 6 is crazy good anyway u run the lines.
* Plus having McCann - Kempe - E-Rod - Teddy B all able to be bottom 6 Centers & all can play wing too.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

DEFENSE-
- A Top 4 of Dumo - Tanger & McCabe - Marino would be Elite.

** Really love this Defense w/ the McCabe, Big Buff, & Mueller additions. Especially the McCabe pick up.
- That is a great Left side w/ Dumo - McCabe - Pettersson - Mueller

- Big Buff signs for cheap after finally getting out of WPG contract - (I'd just like to see him grab Wilson & Oshie w/ 1 hand each ) LOL, just joking around Caps fans.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

* Even the depth on this team is great Plus a group of young guys coming

- #13 Forward - Simon can play on any line at anytime (perfect extra)
- #7 & #8 D-Men Mueller & Ruhwedel would be a solid 3rd pairing

* A bunch of young guys in WBS on the way or possible call ups :
- G- A. Hill (3rd Goalie)
- LW- D. O'Conner
- C- J. Anderson - Dolan
- LW- F. Hallander
- LW- J. Bellerive
- LW- K. Bjorkqvist
- LHD- P-O. Joseph
- LHD- C. Lee
- LHD- N. Almari

** LW- S. Poulin - Could play another yr in JR's but looks ready to me.

* Plus veteran WBS guys that will get & have got NHL time :
- G- J. Gillies
- C/RW- S. Lafferty
- C/RW- A. Angello
- C/LW- M. Granlund
- LW- M. Salomaki
- C/RW- V. Lietteri
- RHD- Z. Trotman
- LHD- A. Borgman
- RHD- J. Schmaltz

that LA trade is never happening, first of all they don't want to give up Kempe, Secondly theyre not giving up KEmpe and taking on Johnssons contract, and Lastly theyre not taking on Murray and retaining quick. That would be way to much money caught up in goalies. Plus Andersson Dolan and a 2nd, there Chiarelli wouldn't make that deal.

Love the Lehner idea if Murray is moved. Kempe and McCabe are interesting pieces also but I wonder if Byfuglien can still perform at the level he used to...gotta wonder about his health with the surgery and not playing the whole year.

LOL, So what is the value for a 25 yr old 2- time winning Stanley Cup winning Goalie on a controlled RFA contract ??

You mean a 2 time cup winner that can never stay healthy, and a defenseman on a terrible contract for the next 3 seasons?

Well for starters if he was that good he wouldn't be losing the starting job to Tistian Jarry and its definitely not a 23 year old former first round pick that tends to be one of the few bright spots on LA, and top prospect, and a second. IMO if you were to currentl trade Matt Murray right now not including Jack Johnson you would get a 1st and a decent prospect MAYBE. But since you added in Johnson that value goes down. Not to mention this would just never happen. LA wants to make the cap situation better, retain prospects and picks a do a quick rebuild like the bruins did in 2015. not trade for bad contracts.
