If there needs to be more for the Palmieri trade, then we may be willing to let go of zavgorodny or ruzicka as well.

Maybe if NJ draft lafriennire then zavgorodny might be a good asset with the chemistry.

I think that contract is on par - maybe he'd sign for $0.5M less if he likes it in CGY, but I think he can get $5M easily from another team. Sure, he's not a point producer, but he's a solid stay-at-home defender and brings great leadership to the dressing room.
