Jordan Harris will play in Nhl very soon. Before Norlinder, in fact some expert put harris higher then romanov on there list. He was averaging more then 25 min in Northeastern this year having the biggest load of defensive attribution. He had very good stats for a guy who didn’t see much ice time on the powerplay since Ryan Shea was use on the first unit.

I knew Harris had a good year but didn’t know he was playing that much. Habs have some intriguing LHD prospects coming up Romanov, Norlinder, Struble all seem to have good potential if they keep developing like they have this year.

Yeah the habs have really garnishes their leftside defenseman prospect pool. Harris have draw comparison with duncan keith. And romanov could be a excellent second pairing defenseman. Futur look bright

As a Habs fan, I really look forward for our future. The only thing is that in the names you just mentionned, I am not sure that any of the will be a solid top2 dman (like McAvoy, for exemple). It may just be me, but from what i'm hearing, we have 3-4 future top4 left-defenseman. We will see next year if someone create a surprise, just like Suzuki did two years ago.

You always get surprises. Add in someone like Lundell or Perfetti in this draft plus you can trade some prospects and picks for someone like say Lindholm from Anaheim and it would be great. I do wonder tho how Armia, Lehkonen and Price fit long term tbh

    its like Suzuki vs Kotkanemi
one may be bigger today but next year experience gained by developing longer will pay off

Harris like Suzuki is a regular representative of his nation who's constantly improved to become a leader .
Norlinder like Kotkanemi could be rushed because he's over achieved so young but if developed properly will become bigger stars long term .
(they could end up being just like JH and NS which isnt a bad thing but the potential is there )

Suzuki and Harris are you Jeff Petry /Brendan Gallagher types who are middle 4/6 leaders
Norlinder and Kotkanemi on the other hand have the potential to be something we've not had since Koivu and Souray .
but only if we develop them properly as Saku Koivu has been saying about the KK situation for a year now pointing out both he and his brother needed 2 years to mature post draft.
