I was going to say the same, especially Montour and realistically is any UFA going to sign a 1 yr deal in Buffalo? Only if they have no other offers, and a guy like Brassard will have some teams out there willing to give him a 2 or 3 yr deal.

😂😂😂. You have an unhappy Eichel, a team that hasn’t made the playoffs since 2011, the weather isn’t known to be all that great. Just saying it isn’t a choice destination.

The eichel thing is made up. By the way how many years did he sign for vs all of Toronto's RFAs?

Where did Jeff skinner waive his NTC to?

I would love to see reinhart at 6. There is just no chance in hell he signs for that. Reinhart should be comparable to skinner value-wise. Both are wingers, one is better all around, the other is a better skater and goal scorer. Its not the best comp, but its a ballpark, and we just gave the other one 9 million. We would need a new gm to even make the case that skinners contract was a huge embarrassing mistake.

I could careless what Toronto’s RFA’s signed for. It doesn’t change the fact that Buffalo is not a choice destination, there are a lot of NHL cities that aren’t exactly choice destinations. Are you really arguing that it is? Because to keep Skinner they over paid for him. And let’s not forget ROR wasn’t exactly thrilled to be there.

Seriously? He was traded in August of 2018 and signed his extension in June 2019. Seriously bro it’s called Google.

Bro ROR signed the minute he was traded because he wanted a big contract that Colorado wouldn’t give him. He didn’t have NTC or NMC to waive, because he had previously signed an OS and the Avs couldn’t trade him for year as per the rules. I brought up O’Reilly because he wanted out of Buffalo. Regardless I’m done, hope you are being safe during these trying times.

Not the hill to die on. He's right. Add high income taxes and a dysfunctional organization to the list of reasons Buffalo isn't a top destination.
