Potential backup goalie next year ranked

Created by: RoyBoy

Description
Ranked 1-5 top to bottom. Don’t worry about the lineup. Also I could maybe see a trade for a backup where a team is trying to shed cap (Reimer CAR, Allen STL, etc.) but these are my most likely signings or in-system fixes. IMO it’ll take a lot for Lindgren to be the backup, and I honestly don’t see it happening, I see him getting traded or something. So yeah comment below on your list.

Jaro > Crawford, but this is good and a good idea!! Also the contracts are low.
(The reason I say this is because if these were the deals, you wouldnt be looking at Jaro because the bruins would bring him back. Jaro is going for 4+ somewhere to be a fringe starter somewhere).

I can trigger every Habs fan with two words and one symbol...
Jaro>Price

Whether or not you believe that aside, Jaro wild probably be your best option, though he will get offers of at least close to three mil for two years

I think Halak is the best option but I think he'll resign with Boston

I have a feeling that Boston may not be able to bring back Halak, but it’s not a guarantee. Yes, Halak>Crawford, but I see it more likely Crawford signs in MTL because he’s from the area and he’s undefeated at Bell Centre (this isn’t me saying he will ever lose a home game but it’s an interesting tidbit) so yeah. I did it on likelihood not skill.

Miller isn't leaving LA, his wife is an actress. If the Ducks don't bring him back, he'll probably just retire.

No I agree, bruins wont bring back Halak cuz hes going for 4+, but if sweeny can convince him to stay in Boston for like 2-3 million he will.

laugh laugh Both Halak and Crawford aren't signing for 1 x 2.5 Crawford at least 1 x 4 and Halak will want 4 x 4.5 at the very least.

And zero chance of Ryan Miller leaving LA for Montreal, Not with his actress wife based out of LA anyways.

Crawford would be sweet, can't see him leaving chicago though.

At this point Lindgren is my backup. Doesnt matter who they get as backup Julien won't play them anyways and then when they finally do get a game and suck because they are rusty they will be thrown under the bus.

He played Price through so many back to backs this season and price didnt show up for any of them anyways. This is a coaching issue. They say they want to manage price's workload but dont even give their backup goalies a chance.
