Underrated af and they’ve got two firsts. I’d use both those picks and then try to offersheet someone cool this year or next

Barzal seems like the perfect offer sheet candidate to me, but there's also someone like Cirelli this year. Not sure who the RFA crop is next year tbh.

For all the flack Fenton gets he sure had an eye for talent. Khovanov and Beckman look like studs.

Yup, he's better. Boldy is awesome but Khovanov can take over a game more than Boldy can, plus he's a center and Boldy is likely a winger.

I agree! Ranking all the prospects overall where do you have Kahkonen? I'm think #4 overall but goalies are tough.

Sokolov that high? I think at this point he's a career AHLer, while guys like McBain and Giroux seem like they might have a chance still. Also what about guys like Belpedio and Menell?

KK, Boldy, Menell, Belpedio, then pick a name out of a hat.

Ladonia and Sokolov belong in the group with FJ as prospects.

Edit* Goalies do belong in a catagory of their own. They are all crapshoots.
I have Beckham over Khovanov too. A great year in the Q in his last year in the Q doesn't mean much too me.

Forgot Mennell, he's good. You're probably right about sokolov and lodnia. I like Khovanov since he's more of a dual threat while Beckman is pretty much purely a sniper. It's good to have snipers but dual threats keep goalies guessing. Plus Beckman plays the wing despite being listed as a center and Khovanov mostly plays center. I also don't think it's fair to say he had one good year in the Q. This guy has battled hepatitis and wasn't able to play fully healthy his draft year, but before he got that he was regarded as a first round pick.

Not sure, I don't really like throwing goalies with the others since the position is so funky

Forgot those two. But you're probably right about sokolov. He has a bunch of skill but he can't stop eating junk food

I like all 3 of our goalie prospects right now. I don't really thing there is much separation between then other than AHL experience currently.

There hasn't been a goalie prospect I've liked since Kemps, so having 3 of them now seems really weird.

Agreed, there's reason for optimism for their future at goalie. Next year will be interesting, there's a ton of options for Guerin. I haven't felt this good about their goalie situation since we had Backstrom/Harding in the NHL and Kuemper/Hackett in the system. Hopefully it turns out better than that did. lol
