Huge overpayment for larsson and spezza isnt a 3c

Spezza's production is as good as Kerfoot's and he has a better faceoff percentage. How is he not a 3C?

I can't see Detroit giving up a 3rd for Engvall they don't need any more bottom 6 wingers.

They gave up a 4th for Erne and Engvall is much better.

That was a year ago. Since then they have added Fabbri, Timashov, Gagner and Zadina has earned a permanent spot. With Erne and Perlini I'm not sure they get resigned. Yzerman giving up a 3rd for Engvall isn't going to happen.

he can be but hes just to slow for this team especially with kapenan as his rw. Hes more suited for being a 4th line C but at times when he plays well and is rewarded with playing with matthews or tavares hes fine there in short bursts.

I like Larsson but that's a great trade for Edmonton, can't see Dubas doing doing that though.

Gagner was a cap dump and Timashov was waived to make space for Engvall.

Engvall would be a middle 6 player on the Red Wings. Only 5 forwards on the Red Wings have a higher PPG than Engvall. Unless the Wings get LAFRENIÈRE I think Engvall would be a great pick up.

Maybe but not if they have to give up a 3rd to get him. He only managed 15 points in 48 games with Toronto thats not good I've seen all star teams that don't have that much fire power. Even on the 3rd line with out one of the big 4 he still should be putting up more point because the other teams are focusing their defense on the first 2 lines.

He only plays 11 minutes a night and a lot of those are on the penalty kill. He's also an RFA when this contract is up.
