      Lol, no on Kovalchuk. He is not what the Jets need. Keep Appleton in there.

      Certainly not for that money. But I just don't think his playing style fits with the makeup of the team. He would have to have a bottom 6 role and in that case he won't get the ice time to be effective.

      Kovalchuk would've been a great signing for the Jets this season after LA terminated his contract.
