Boro would be lucky to get that. Considering the guy is hurt most every year, is a 6th or 7th defenseman on most good teams? If I were the GM I wouldn't even be offering him a contract. Especially when you factor in that Ottawa has Jaros, Brannstrom, Thomson, and JBD on deck. STL will likely take that deal seeing they get a 1st, another 1st in JBD, and a B level prospect which when the cap drops to $75M roughly and they need to re-sign Pietrangelo? They would be lucky to get a return like that for Parayko and his $5.5M cap hit. Factor in they just signed Perunovich to a contract, he's likely stepping in next year anyway. So if the Blues do need to cut salary like many teams will? To get a haul like that for a contract you likely need to drop anyway? Yeah it's a good trade.
