Way too early to get excited about either of these two, could end up being two more Bracco's.

main issue we have to much forward depth for bracco to come up. If we did not have kapenan, johnsson, clifford, spezza, mikeyv and even moore or timashov (when they were here) i could see him possibly being called up but sadly we either did not have the cap or the space to do so. Hopefully he gets traded to a team who will give him a chance like Ottawa as that team turns unwanted or unused players into gems

These two players are big time goal scorers and you need to get up to speed with the program.

Mikheyev (back to the K )and Johnsson (salary dump trade) would have to be moved for Robertson to even get a chance next year with the Leafs, a kid like him must have the top 6 forward spot handed to him (like Nylander, Marner and Johnsson) to succeed without toiling with bottom six guys (like Kapanen, Brown and Hyman) when they started their careers.

Robertson is something special and think he has a real shot to play with the Leafs next year rather than wasting a year back in the OHL. Agree with you that he should play on top two lines so maybe Mikheyvev is moved to third line and Johnsson traded for picks or for a defenceman.

If Engvall turns into a 4th line C to replace Goat, maybe Robertson cracks the line up. Johnsson must know he's played his last Leaf game.

Lol... One of them is playing in the East Coast league so forgive me if I think you should temper your expectations a bit.

i think you are right about Johnson and that the Leafs will go with Mikheyev over him with his bigger size. Sounds like Leafs have inside track on signing another Russian after April 1th who could also make the Leafs. Kind of think that Malgin is not even resigned.

I know you will find this hard to believe but Brazeau has huge upside and his real weakness is his skating which he is now improving big time with Leafs skating coach. This player came out of Northern Ontario and did not have access to hockey training until his junior hockey years where he made substantial improvements to become a big time goal scorer. Do not under-estimate him because he is going to prove his critics wrong and realistically he will be starting next year on the Marlies.

Few players that aren't drafted and signed as overager UFA ever make to the NHL, never mind become game changing NHL players
All teams have "Brazeaus" in their system. Leafs have centre Brooks a scoring wiz in junior who was bypassed twice in the draft. He's been OK in his two Marlie years. But NHL worthy.....that's really iffy.
