Normally yes but I figured he wouldn't because of the negative cap.

Besides he clearly is a huge Toronto sports fan. Can't comment on the Leafs bit he's a huge raptors and Jays fan. Figure win/win for him to do a one year low $ contract

Also if he refinds his Nashville form, let alone his Montreal form it certainly solves our problems.

League minimum for Subban is a little low, unless of course he just wants to play at home after a buyout I'd think he'd get a Shatty type deal 1.4/5 x 1.
At this point sure Johnsson is better ( probably why the 2 3rds were added to the trade.
Subban does solve the problems of the right side he is a top 4 RHD who if Muzz is his partner would probably flourish
