Mitch is a really good player but I just can't see any team giving three 1st round picks for him.

This must be from the offersheet Columbus offered Marner last summer that he didn’t sign but could have and Toronto didn’t match... so you’re missing a 1st.

Heard the only reason he didn't sign it was he wanted a 5 year and CBJ would only do a 7 year? True false?

Why would anyone ever suggest trading Marner instead of Nylander? Marner is a Toronto boy and will likely be finishing his career here.

DeMelo for 4 mil/per is too much. Manson is also decent, but overrated.

Kovalchuk? No. Thornton? Absolutely not.

Probably true. That would then walk him straight to FA... I heard he was using it as leverage vs Toronto but he didn’t want to leave Toronto.

I just realized how new you are. Kovalchuk is having a good season. Thornton is one of the greatest passers.
Nylander has been playing better than Marner and has a much better cap hit

hes been posting troll comments everywhere lul. Thorton on the 4th line would be amazing especially with clifford and Spezza. As for Kovalchuk, if he signs at league min him with tavares or matthews would be amazing. especially if he can perform like he did in montreal. veteran presence on any team is important.
