Pesce is in an interesting predicament he got the same injury as mikeyv and from what I have learned the injury could affect his ability to play the puck or stick handle. We will have to see when he comes back from the injury how he plays.

with the injury he received no way pass on that. Sure he played well but that was before the injury. Will need to see him play after the injury to determine his trade value

Crazy that every time the Pesce for Nylander trade was proposed on this site in the last 2 years everyone said the Canes would decline in a heartbeat. Now, TOR would probably consider Nylander virtually untouchable.

Also crazy how everyone, myself included, hated on Dubas for overpaying Nylander at the 11th hour. His contract seems really solid now and possibly the best contract of the big 4 on a dollar for dollar basis. I'm not even saying that any of the others are necessarily overpaid, but Nylander was on pace for 37G and 71 points. Pretty good for $7M.
