It heightens their cup chances next year absolutely. I have heard that Landeskog might be released by some avs fans, though that may not happen. If he doesn't come back, there is absolutely room for Makar.

This is so unrealistic. Colorado isn't letting their captain go.
And teams don't make 1 year cup runs

Those were not avs fans, most avs fans said the opposite

There is absolutely no way any avs fans have said that, like Jeffw said it’s the opposite

Landy isn’t took anywhere. Both sides have said to want to get it done and avs fans don’t want him to go anywhere

And no way avs buyout ej either, there is no need to

Even then don’t rush it, avs have a glut of guys they need to figure out to get them top 9 spots, and there are bigger fish to go after than name in UFA. He could be a plan c move

How about your view of the Tierney trade? I think he is the perfect 3C for COL at the right price. @JeffW @coga16

Meh. It’s a move for the sake of making a move. Compher is fine in that role, no need to swap parts burning a 2nd round pick to fo it.

If they want to do that sort of move just try to sign Erik haula in ufa and keep compher

I'd rather stick with the guy I know in compher.. plays pk, can play top 6 and has grit, if he would score more he'd be the perfect player

Instead of buying out Johnson (who i know is slightly overpaid) you should trade with a desperate team like the rangers and buy out one of their players (Smith/Staal/Hank)

They lean on compher a bit too much for defensive draws, if he can improve that then he’s more than capable of being a solid 3c

I do like haula as a guy to add, is a good C but can be a guy who is able to slot into a top 6 wing role. And with his speed could be fun with mackinnon at times

Yeah wouldn’t do any of this. It blocks all their prospects and ties up all their cap space.
